Registration

Read or Die’s pre-registration period will last from October 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007. Convention attendees who buy their passes within the pre-registration period can avail of special discounts and convention privileges.
 
PRE-REGISTRATION RATES (until January 31, 2007)
 
Professionals: P300 (2 days); P150 (single day entry)
Students: P200 (2 days); P100 (single day entry)
Guests: FREE
Volunteers: FREE
 
REGISTRATION RATES (after January 31, 2007)
 
Professionals: P400 (2 days); P200 (single day entry)
Students: P300 (2 days); P150 (single day entry)
 
We are encouraging potential convention attendees to reserve their passes in advance.
 
Pre-registration concludes on January 31, 2007, after which we will be selling passes at convention rates.
 
Children aged FOUR (4) and below are entitled to free entrance. Children aged FIVE (5) to TWELVE (12) will be charged half the student rate, or P50 per child. Children aged THIRTEEN (13) and above will be charged the full student rate.
 
We are reserving a block of rooms in the Hotel Intercon for a special convention rate in case attendees would like to stay in the hotel throughout the duration of the convention. Rooms must be reserved and paid for in advance. Paid hotel reservations will be entitled to ONE (1) FREE TWO-DAY PASS to the convention and a free RodCon T-shirt.
 
We are also offering discounts to student groups of TEN (10). Each ten-student group that reserves and buys their two-day passes during the registration period will receive ONE (1) FREE TWO-DAY PASS.
 
Guests include sponsors, invited keynote speakers, and panelists, whether or not they are sponsored by Read or Die. All guests are entitled to FREE two-day passes.
  
Convention Policies

  • Please wear your convention badge while you're inside the convention premises at all times.
  • Bringing food and drink into the convention premises is not allowed.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol are also banned.
  • For security reasons, RodCon is enforcing a no-weapons policy. Weapons will automatically be confiscated by the security staff.
  • RodCon is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, or injuries sustained during the convention. Please observe proper security guidelines with respect to your person and your belongings.
  • Please don't sleep or camp in the hallways and lobby of the hotel at the risk of being removed from the premises. If you have no hotel room to stay in, please check our web forum for people who might be willing to share rooms or are looking to split costs.
  • Please respect the convention facilities.
  • Children aged twelve and below who come to the convention with a parent or guardian and who plan to attend the programming independently will be provided with a convention badge with their guardian's contact information.
  • RodCon reserves the right to eject people who violate aforementioned guidelines along with standard rules of polite public behavior at our discretion. Please note that we are not refunding revoked convention passes.
