FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

VENUE

1) How do I get there?

You can take the MRT and alight at the Quezon Avenue station. There will be a terminal for jeepneys going to the UP Diliman campus. Ask the driver to put you down in front of Faculty Center. The Claro M. Recto Hall is on the ground floor.

When taking the bus alight at Philcoa and then take the UP Philcoa jeepneys parked beside McDonald's.

2.) Is there parking for us who are bringing cars?
You can park at the AS parking lot which is almost right in front of the Faculty Center. FC also has a parking lot but it is reserved for faculty members and employees. Parking is free.

PARTICIPATION

1) Is there a registration fee?

No, entrance is free.

2) Will I get a certificate if I participate in the symposium?

That will depend on the UP College of Arts and Letters. However the goal of the symposium is to serve as a talking point or forum for komiks artists and writers. It is not a conference or a workshop.

3) How can I sell my comics during the event?

Please be sure to contact us at readordie.ph@gmail.com if you plan to sell. Unregistered sellers will not be allowed to set up. However, note that you will probably have to bring your own table and chairs to the event. We might be able to make arrangements but in the meantime you will have to consider the logistics of bringing equipment.

4) Can I sell publications aside from comics?

Yes, as long as you sell comics too, but we will prioritize people who will only be selling comics, especially indie creators. 4) Can you arrange an interview for me with your speakers?

No, sorry. Please approach them personally and make your own arrangements.

5) How about autograph sessions?

Still under consideration. At the moment there are no scheduled signings but again you can always approach your favorite artists or writers during breaks.
