We guarantee food and maybe a free book or two. Duties range from blogging, facilitating sessions at the Wikipinas booth, documentation, manning the book donations area, standing by the Activity Area during RoD slots, and programming and logistics. Take a more active part in the Book Fair and help spread the love for reading and literature.

The Manila International Book Fair is the undisputed book exhibition in the country for almost three decades. With more than three hundred local and foreign exhibitors featuring hundreds and thousands of book titles, the most number in any book exhibition in the country, the event promises once again to bring together both foreign and local players in book publishing and its allied industries who are expected to rake in millions in outright sales and orders from their target markets.

Vibal Publishing House Inc. , one of the top educational publishers in the Philippines today, was established in 1953 by the late veteran journalist and newspaperman, Hilarion P. Vibal.Since then, VPHI has endeared itself to students, teachers and parents with more than 5,000 textbook titles bearing its seal of quality. Its product line has evolved through the years—from textbooks to reference materials to multimedia products to keep abreast with the changing needs of the Filipino learner. VPHI takes pride in having established a hard-earned reputation in the production and distribution of quality educational materials.

Anvil Publishing, Inc. is a seven-time Publisher of the Year as cited by the Manila Critics Circle. To date, it is the biggest and most progressive tradebook publisher in the Philippines. Founded and operationalized in 1990, it publishes and occasionally imports a wide range of books. Anvil has pioneered in expanding local trade lines. It has introduced popular-format books which are reasonably-priced. This, after years of a local publishing tradition of scholarly/academic publications in limited printruns, which take years to sell. It has gone into popularizing psychology (sex and gender issues, parenting, stress management, etc.), history and concept books (gay anthology, erotica by women, women on midlife, etc.). It has succeeded in improving the look of the local book: from cover and design to paper and printing. It has been recognized by the Manila Critics Circle as a publisher that has proven “…books can be both quality and commercially viable productions…” (from the Citation for 1990 and 1991 Publisher of the Year Awards), and “for consistency in its output in quality and number” (from the citation for 1995 Publisher of the Year).

Powerbooks is the pioneer specialty bookstore in the Philippines carrying the widest selection and catering to every book lovers' tastes and needs.Inaugurated on August 16, 1996, Powerbooks was the first of its kind to provide the perfect mix of a cozy reading ambience, a coffee shop and an accessible good book to every passionate reader, making it a true haven for all book lovers.Known for providing the best books at the most competitive price in the market, Powerbooks continues to increase the depth and variety of their selection with more than 100,000 titles from different genres.
